This Sector runs from the Montana-North Dakota border to the Continental Divide. As of FY2011, there were 213 Border Patrol jobs in the Havre Sector, an increase from 156 in FY2009.

Border Patrol Agents: CBP Border Patrol Agents are trained to prevent terrorists and terrorist weapons from entering the United States and to detect and prevent smuggling and the unlawful entry of illegal aliens into the country.

All candidates seeking jobs with the CBP must pass a thorough background investigation, which includes passing a polygraph test, and pass a medical exam, fitness test, and a drug test.

Turner, Montana Port of Entry

The Turner, Montana, Port of Entry is open seven days a week from 8:00AM-9:00PM during the summer months (June through September) and 9:00AM-6:00PM throughout the rest of the year. The Turner Port of Entry is a permit port, which means that all cargo must be approved in advance by the Great Falls Service Port before it can pass through the Turner Port of Entry.

The Turner Port of Entry is part of the Seattle Field Operations Office.
