The Scobey, Montana, Port of Entry is open from 8:00AM to 9:00PM from June through September and from 9:00AM to 6:00PM throughout the rest of the year. This Port of Entry is part of the Seattle Field Operations office.

The Scobey, Montana Port of Entry opened a new facility in June 2012 to replace the older, outdated facility. This new border facility, which was funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, is designed to strengthen the security and facilitate the flow of legal travel and trade along the Northern border. This new Scobey facility features cutting-edge inspection technology that is designed to both strengthen security at this port of entry and expedite the inspections that take place there. Other technology used along the Northern border by the CBP includes: thermal camera systems, mobile surveillance systems, and remote video surveillance systems.
